NEW YORK -- Comments on the Atlanta Falcons by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

ATLANTA FALCONS (2)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 2) -- Ditto; Tony Gonzalez 25 years old again.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 6) -- Matt Ryan has been the best quarterback so far, the main reason they are 5-0.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 2)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 2) -- Still haven't played their best football and yet still undefeated.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 3) -- Matty Ice pulls off his 18th career game-winning drive to keep the Falcons unbeaten and keep his MVP run intact.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 2) -- The Falcons are 5-0 with a league-high three road victories.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 2) -- Let's just fast forward to the playoffs so we can see if Matt Ryan can do there what he does the first 16 games of the season.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 2) -- Led by MVP candidate Matt Ryan, these Dixie Hummingbirds keep finding new ways to win.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 2) -- They just keep winning and they are well balanced. Teams without good corners will struggle against the Falcons.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 2) -- The Falcons have not been as sharp the last couple of weeks, but they are finding different ways to win. Sitting pretty at 5-0 with the Raiders on deck and then the bye week.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 2) -- The Falcons have now opened 3-0 on the road for the first time since Mike Smith became head coach in 2008.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 2) -- Its been difficult for opposing offenses to hang with the Falcons' offense, which is averaging 31 points per game.
