Pagano makes it to 3rd straight Colts' home game
INDIANAPOLIS -- Chuck Pagano is back at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Colts coach who has spent the past 2½ months fighting leukemia completed his third and final round of chemotherapy earlier this week. Interim coach Bruce Arians had said he wasn't sure if Pagano would attend Sunday's game against Tennessee because doctors were uncertain whether Pagano's white blood-cell count would be high enough.
Apparently, Pagano passed the test.
Before the game, Pagano visited with patients from Riley Hospital for Children in the hallway near the team locker rooms.
Pagano took an indefinite leave from the team after the Sept. 26 diagnosis. This is the third straight Colts' home game he has attended. The hope is to have Pagano back on the sideline for the regular-season finale Dec. 30 against Houston.
