Tulane's Griffin among Saints' undrafted signings
METAIRIE, La. -- Former Tulane quarterback Ryan Griffin and ex-Louisiana-Monroe tight end Keavon Milton were among the undrafted free agents who have agreed to sign rookie contracts with the New Orleans Saints.
The Saints have not yet confirmed the signings, but the schools have announced their former players' decisions following Saturday's conclusion of the NFL draft.
Idaho State confirmed the Saints' signing of tight end Josh Hill and Grand Valley State said guard Tim Lelito joined New Orleans.
The 6-foot-5 Griffin started 39 games in his four seasons at Tulane, passing for 9,026 yards and 79 touchdowns. With New Orleans, he'll work behind starter Drew Brees and backup Luke McCown.
Milton appeared in 45 games for the Warhawks, catching 25 passes for 220 yards and four touchdowns.
