2-time champion Robredo tops Ungur at Swedish Open

BASTAD, Sweden -- Two-time champion Tommy Robredo of Spain defeated eighth-seeded Adrian Ungur of Romania in the first round of the Swedish Open on Monday.
Robredo, a winner here in 2006 and 2008 who was given a wildcard to play in his 12th consecutive edition of the tournament, beat Ungur 6-4, 6-2.
Later on the clay courts of the Bastad Tennis Stadium, home favorite Christian Lindell was knocked out by Jurgen Zopp of Estonia, who cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 win, and Jan Hajek of the Czech Republic beat Federico Delbonis of Argentina 7-6 (3), 6-3.
