Katie Douglas rejoins Connecticut Sun
UNCASVILLE, Conn. -- Three-time WNBA All-Star Katie Douglas has rejoined the Connecticut Sun.
The team announced Monday the 6-foot guard has signed a two-year contract with an option for a third year.
Douglas was drafted by Orlando in 2001 and moved with the team to Connecticut in 2003. She played there for the next five years, helping the franchise to two Eastern Conference championships. She played the last six seasons with the Indiana Fever, averaging 15 points last year.
The former Purdue star ranks ninth on the WNBA's scoring list with 5,142 points and third in 3-pointers with 663 over her 13-year career.
