All in all, not a shabby year. In May, Kim won his first PGA Tour event, the Wachovia Championship, with a 16-under-par 272, the lowest score in the tournament's history. In July, he took the AT&T National title. And in September, the third-year pro crushed Sergio Garcia in singles play at the Ryder Cup, setting the stage for America's dominant win.
