ESPN The Magazine's Jock Chef: Shawn Marion
What is "Jock Chef?" Update: Marion is apparently now a Raptor. Read this if you're an Insider.() You ever go to a bar and have just absolutely awful chicken wings, and you're like "Jeez, I'm never coming here again!" (Happens to us all the time.) Apparently you (or we) should be spending more time at Shawn Marion's crib. Dude can rock the chicken wings like some rock the cas-bah (wow, that's a dated reference), as we learned when we filmed a "Jock Chef" video with him.

Shayne Graham sure can cook.
What is "Jock Chef?" The Cincinnati Bengals didn't exactly have a good season, but Shayne Graham is fairly beast. That might be the first time in recorded history that a kicker is referred to as "fairly beast," so in honor of that, watch this video of Graham cooking up a storm. So, seriously, is Marvin Lewis being shown the door? Remember a few years ago when this team was amazing? Damn Kimo messing up Carson Palmer's knee.

Jock Chef: The New England Patriots Jarvis Green cooks chicken and sausage gumbo
Jarvis Green has his own website. That's cool. (When you go there, it says "Let's play some defense! Give me three and out!" with a thumping rap track underneath. Awesome.) He has a foundation. Cooler. He plays for the New England Patriots, a (OK-maybe-not-this-season) traditional winner. He's fourth all-time in sacks at LSU, a place that has produced some fearsome defensive linemen. For our purposes with the Jock Chef series (seen on E:60 as well), this is the coolest thing about the dude: he cooks a mean chicken and sausage gumbo. Watch him do it here. Click 'Read More' for the actual recipe. And hey—if you end up trying it at home, holler at us and tell us how it went. We are providing a service here, after all.

Jock Chef: George Wilson does green beans and chicken
Buffalo Bills S George Wilson was all too happy to cook up a few of his specialties during the pre-season. Raised by a single mother, Wilson says he and his brother and sister were taught that a home-cooked meal is one of the most important things in a household. While enjoying some of his mom's signature dishes, like salmon and pork chops, the Kentucky native learned tips like "making things to your taste; as long as you start with a little, you can add to it, but don't ever overdo it," Wilson says.
