The wait is over.

Tonight is crunch time for Barack and Hillary. The two Democratic party superstars have slugged it out for top-dog status over the last two months (kind of like the Lakers and the Celtics) and it could all be settled tonight. But probably not. In this dueling spirit, let's look at what's happening in sports through the lens of analogous star-pairings.

Crosby vs. Ovechkin
Sid the Kid makes his return tonight (7:30pm ET) against Tampa Bay after missing 21 games. Ovechkin and the Caps take the night off which gives Crosby a chance to score the 32 goals he needs to be back in the trophy race.
Chris Bosh vs. Dwight Howard
The NBA's next class of classy big men (and lotharios) goes toe to toe when Bosh (22.6, 8.9) and the Raptors travel to face The Mag's 2007 Next cover boy Howard
(21.7, 14.6) and the Magic (7pm ET).
Roy Williams vs. Himself
Coach Roy is kind of like McCain (Oh yeah, he'll definitely wrap it up tonight). He's got the troops and the party backing (in Chapel Hill, anyway). The only thing standing in the way of the ultimate victory is history. The fact that that he's only won one national championshipwith the amount of crazy-good teams that he's coached is reason enough to watch tonight and start looking for early cracks when UNC plays FSU (8pm ET.)
