Even the primates shudder at the play-in game.

It's March, so the most logical place to start a look at Tuesday evening in sports is with the play-in game, and that's a smidge depressing. The play-in game, while a valuable ESPN property, may be one of the biggest teases in sports . So when Mount St. Mary's and Coppin State lock horns for the right to lose to UNC by 39 on Friday (7:30pm, ESPN), well, don't say we didn't warn ya.

NBA:
Celtics @ Rockets (9:30 ET, TNT)
There are a lot of questions surrounding this game: Can the Rockets extend their streak to 23? Can Luis Scola handle Kevin Garnett? Were Sam Cassell or Dikembe Mutombo alive during the Eisenhower administration? Expect answers to at least two of them.

NHL:
Thrashers @ Flyers (7 ET, V.S.)
After losing eight of their last 10 games, Atlanta seems like the prefect team to play to give the Flyers some breathing room from Buffalo. Then again, Ilya Kovulchuk always seems like he's just one wrong look away from putting up six points and absolutely ruining your night.

Ironic channel-program pairing:
Walker, Texas Ranger (8 ET, Hallmark)

Because if you have a special message for a special someone there are essentially two ways to tell it: a saccharine Hallmark card or a swift roundhouse kick to the face from Chuck Norris .
