The Mag: Red Sox and Rat Protesters
The Red Sox caused a brief stir yesterday by threatening to boycott their Japan opener against the A's due to failure to pay assistant coaches . Interestingly, about 50 feet from our office in front of a giant inflatable rat , a local carpenters union was also protesting upper management decisions. As life imitated sports, we took a walk down the street and tried to draw a few parallels. Meanwhile, that Boston/New York hatred thing? Still alive and well.
