"All my homies to the right, put 'em up, put 'em up!"

The beauty of the Final Four? Simplicity. Four teams, two games, one goal: Monday night. You know all the "big" storylines. That's where we come in, with a team-by-team evaluation of the lesser known elements. Four teams, 16 items per team = 64 total items. It's like the Tournament is starting all over again! But it's not. Whew. We've already done Kansas , UCLA , and Memphis. Only one left to hit up: the North Carolina Tar Heels.

(1) UNC, which has the second-most wins all-time in college hoops (behind Kentucky), won its first game on January 27, 1910. You know what else happened on that day? William Randolph Hearst Jr. turned 2 (he's been dead for 15 years).

(2) For all the legendary players UNC has called its own, the first triple double in school history was December 4, 2001 by Brendan Haywood (18 points, 14 boards, 10 blocks).

(3) 1957 title game? Kansas vs. UNC (we hope CBS has clips of it!) It was the only triple OT game in NCAA Tournament Championship history.

(4) Due to several alums staying in the area, Sam Cassell once referred to the Smith Center crowd as "wine-and-cheese, kinda laid back." Ha. Could you imagine Psycho T at a wine and cheese party?

(5) Dean Smith didn't even want the arena named after him; apparently the administration convinced him that fundraising efforts for the building would fail if he didn't attach his name.

(6) The official name of Carolina Blue is "Pantone 278."

(7) Tyler Hansbrough is from Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The town's second most famous resident? Former Playboy Playmate Julie McCullough, best known as the girl that got fired from Growing Pains [Ed's note: allegedly] because of Kirk Cameron's conversion to evangelical Christianity.

(8) Marcus Ginyard's favorite hobby off the court? Restoring cars.

(9) Here's Matt Doherty's breakdown of UNC on his personal blog : "UNC: I believe this is one of the better teams I have seen in a long time as they have GREAT talent, great depth, balanced scoring, terrific defense, a coach who has "been there" before and most importantly, a stud who is on a mission! Tyler Hansbrough put on one of the best performances I have ever seen in a big game when he took over the Louisville game. He was not going to be denied!!" Talk about bitter.

(10) Hansbrough, who fishes in the off-season , says his favorite pro fisherman is Bill Dance. Hmm. Think he owns the shades too?

(11) Last year, a reporter asked Danny Green for his father's phone number for a story. His response? "My father's in prison." (Drug trafficking charges in 2006) That reporter: not necessarily the best researcher.

(12) Tyler Hansbrough and Bobby Frasor like to play Ping Pong against each other .

(13) 850 The Buzz Radio does not like Roy Williams' neckwear selections . You hear the banjo in there? Ha.

(14) Wayne Ellington's MySpace page is, well, interesting . Our favorite part? "If U feel like I do Stay Koo peace." Did he text that from his phone to the site or something?

(15) Surry Wood (cool name!) has played in mop-up duty for four years. In Round 1 against Mount St. Mary's, he finally threw down an alley oop ! UNC was up 39 points at the time.

(16) Roy Williams' hometown of Spruce Pine, NC is home of "The Perfect Christmas Tree" according to a local Chamber of Commerce promotion. Psssst. Everyone knows the perfect Christmas tree is this thing .
