"I'm more annoying than anyone in the entire world."
[Ed's note: There's a completely legitimate reason Kenny G is the picture associated with this post. Do you know why? Betcha don't. But if ya read through, you will. And as those cheesy early 1990s NBC promos will tell you, "... THE MORE YOU KNOW..." So read up on (4) Jazz vs. (5) Rockets.]
(1) "It's On Him!" Again.
(2) Jarron Collins is essentially responsible for getting Jim Harrick fired from UCLA , and ultimately directing Baron Davis and Earl Watson to the Bruins as well.
(3) Shane Battier is the tech editor of HOOP Magazine. Ya know, our *&@&*@*&@ computers weren't working this morning — you got any advice, bro?
(4) When Tyrone Corbin, currently a Jazz assistant coach, played for the Jazz, he was known as "The Milkman," partially as a play on words off Karl Malone being "The Mailman." This led to Corbin getting a series of milk mustache ads.
(5) Speaking of mustaches, Phil Jackson once compared current Rockets head man Rick Adelman to Hitler (um) during the 2000 playoffs. Jackson's Lakers were playing Adelman's Kings, and Jackson used the reference because of Adelman's mustache and short-cropped hair.
(6) Kyle Korver's dad, Kevin, is a pastor in Pella, Iowa, which happens to be the childhood home of Wyatt Earp.
(7) Aaron Brooks of the Rockets went to Franklin HS in Seattle. Know who else went there? Kenny G (he's a bit older). In the Franklin alum mag, Kenny G says: "At Franklin, I had my first sax solo and my first kiss; it's hard to determine which is more important." Wow.
