You so crazy!

FLASHIEST GUYS FROM 'THE U?' IN A BIT OF AN UPSET, WE'LL TAKE CLINTON PORTIS

[Ed's note: Not sure what All-World Power Rankings is? Please click here.]

The current issue of ESPN The Magazine has a nice first-person piece with Saints TE Jeremy Shockey on the last year of his life. (There's an exclusive video there also.) Shockey went to the University of Miami, a place this guy knows well—as does the NFL in general. Take a look at this list of Hurricanes who have played on Sundays. For whatever reason, a lot of 'em are very flashy guys. Here's a look at some of the most extroverted.

TOP 5
RANK (YESTERDAY) WHAT WHY
1 (14) CLINTON PORTIS You could go with a ton of people here, but just watch this and try to argue against Portis as one of the most entertaining dudes to ever emerge from South Beach.
2 (41) MICHAEL IRVIN The WR definitely had a style all his own.
3 (217) WARREN SAPP He understands the power of the media: within his first weeks as a commentator, he calls Urban Meyer "a classless dirtbag" then fries DeAngelo Hall for blowing coverages all the time. He's also joining Dancing with the Stars.
4 (127) RAY LEWIS As with the guys above, probably more 'skilled' than 'flashy' ('skill' usually has to come first, otherwise you're just a fool). Slides down this list a little because even though he dances like this, you tend to remember him more for hitting like this.
5 (899) KELLEN WINSLOW There's this (from his college days) and most of his professional quotes, including coming off the field at halftime Sunday night screaming "I was open!"

HONORABLE MENTION
RANK (YESTERDAY) WHAT WHY
18 (144) JEREMY SHOCKEY We don't always the rank the motivation for the Rankings, but here we should: not to confuse 'flashiness' with 'strong dating life,' but Shockey's been photographed out in his day with Tara Reid, Brittney Gastineau and Katrina from season one of The Apprentice.
28 (459) ALONZO HIGHSMITH A member of Miami's '83 national title team, he later became a professional boxer. That's pretty flashy. Bonus: this clip is pretty funny.

RISING AND FALLING
MOVEMENT WHAT
ROSCOE PARRISH (If he keeps owning people on special teams, he might get more flamboyant on the field.)
ED REED (He hits hard and is awesome at his position, but he really seems like a respectful dude focused on the work and not the flash.)
