HOFSTRA? THEY KNOW FOOTBALL TOO
Tonight the focus may be different, but the place is a veritable NFL pipeline! OK, well, kinda.
Something big is happening at Hofstra University tonight. (We don't comment on such things, we just note them.) Know something cool about Hofstra? You wouldn't believe it, but the place has produced some quality NFL talent in the last few years. Marques Colston, featured here, has been injured this season but is one of the Saints' key wideouts. Devale Ellis got released by the Lions, but with their recent dumping of Roy Williams, might they be interested again? Shaine Smith got bounced by the Rams—and honestly, are the Rams in a position to bounce anyone?—but could catch on with another team soon. Watch this video of how the Hofstra NFL products spend their summer together and see for yourself what friendship and preparation is all about. Ha, "friendship." Not something you're going to see tonight! Oh wait, we weren't going to comment.
