Seriously, did we just reference Fever Pitch? Wow. Long week.

You know the part in Fever Pitch where Fallon and Barrymore go to the costume party, have a great night—and then his friend calls him and tells him he missed the greatest Red Sox game ever? He flips out. (In screenwriting classes, they call that "The Act II Turning Point.") How many dudes in Boston were faced with similar situations this morning? The weekend's only going to get more feverish, as you simply cannot beat the Sox in an elimination game (or so it seems). As for the week, it got pretty hot too—the Phillies, who wear red (ha!), are headed to the World Series. The NBA, whose early era video games gave us the expressions "He's heating up!" and "He's on fire," is near a return. (We watched a little of Bucks vs. Warriors last night. It was boring.) If you've got a fever for tons of content, the only prescription is for you to click 'Read More.'
