Kobe Bryant and Baron Davis in the same city? EGAD! (Side note: anyone else find it cool that Baron Davis is good friends with Adam Sandler? We do.) The Clippers definitely got some star power, even as they lost some in Elton Brand. We're not sure you can ever call the Clippers 'fun,' seeing as how they are one of a handful of teams that comes to mind when you say "futility," but this year could be different. Here we go now.

1. DeAndre Jordan and Michael Beasley are apparently good friends. Maybe they bonded over coaches bolting on 'em: Huggins left Kansas State and Billy Gillispie left Texas A&M, but both Jordan and Beasley stayed with their college choice.

2. Eric Gordon announced his intention to enter the NBA Draft at a Jewish Community Center.

3. Cue Marcus Camby throwing the Denver Nuggets under the bus: "I thought I had done everything possible that I could do with that team, and just tried to go about things the right way. I just thought the way they went about it was classless; they didn't let me know anything. That's a thing of the past right now, that's something I put behind me and I'm looking forward to embarking on this journey."

4. Ricky Davis may never live this one down.

5. Not a "fact" at all, but our friend once e-mailed us and asked, "Do you ever think Chris Kaman looks like Hulk Hogan and Chunk from The Goonies had a kid?"

6. We really, really hope those old Kim Cattrall and Cuttino Mobley rumors are lies.

7. Brian Skinner has been traded to both the Bulls and Raptors but yet, never played a game for either team.

8. Our friend calls this Al Thornton dunk in college "the sickest thing ever."

9. A brief history of Baron Davis going viral: "The Stare" ; "One Ram" (directed by Sloan from Entourage) ; he appears on 'Chris Bosh TV' ; him and Adam Sandler ; the Step Brothers spoof.

10. A Q&A with a strength and conditioning coach that references both Hulk Hogan and Shaun Livingston's horrific knee injury? Don't mind if we do.
