A SEASON IN THE STANDS:
WHAT OF SIGNIFICANT OTHERS?
It's a rather important topic, right?
Did you ever see the movie Diner? If not, ya should. It's a classic. In that film, a guy makes his prospective wife take a quiz about his favorite sports team—if she fails, it could be a deal breaker. Think that's preposterous? It kinda is, but take an informal poll of guys and a bunch of them would say they wish they could do that. Point being: sports can have a profound effect on relationships and that's the topic we tackle this week for A Season In The Stands. What you see here is a video about a couple at Oklahoma for whom everything is peachy at the six-month mark (heck, isn't it always?) except fall Saturday mornings. And yes, because you're wondering, they are drinking champagne in that photo. What else we got? At UGA, one couple's first date doesn't go so well—big bad Spurrier beats the Dawgs!—but thankfully, the duo is still together. Jamie Hersch at USC didn't get a couple, but it is Trojan Homecoming this weekend (start feeling bad for the Washington Huskies right now), so she checks in from the pep rallies. Enjoy. (Ohio State will be up later.)
UGA: FIRST DATE NOT SO HOT, BUT HEY, IT ALL WORKED OUT!
USC: HOMECOMING PEP RALLIES.
