Brandon Jennings in Italy
A first look at the phenom abroad, with video.
In the upcoming issue of ESPN The Magazine (it gets "put to bed" Sunday), Chris Broussard will have a feature on Brandon Jennings, the Oak Hill Academy point guard who decided to play professionally in Italy as preparation for an NBA career, even though he had committed to the University of Arizona. Broussard's written piece isn't posted online yet—you can find it on this website by the middle of next week—but he was with Jennings in Italy over the last few weeks, equipped with a camcorder. In this video, Jennings talks about all the losses to the Arizona hoops program, what he's learned so far in Europe and discusses his new, stylish shoes. If you want a good idea of "the life" for players who head abroad, check this video. It's really interesting stuff.
