Clip Reel: A Heisman Update
We were a little bit off-base on August 29, 2008.

On August 29, we posted this 'Clip Reel' on projected Heisman contenders. We went with Tim Tebow, Chris Wells, Pat White, Noel Devine, Chase Daniel, Todd Reesing, Sam Bradford, Michael Crabtree and Knowshon Moreno. Completely legitimate at the time! (Although we have no reason why we thought two dudes from West Virginia should be on there and it made us look real dumb by the end of September.) Now, we look, uh, less right. The race appears to be between Graham Harrell (reason), Colt McCoy (drawback is this game AND this one), Tebow (no one is playing better than the Gators) and possibly Sam Bradford (logic) if the Sooners end up leap-frogging Texas and Texas Tech for the Big 12's perceived spot in the BCS Title game. Hey, we had Tebow and Bradford! Nice.
