The NEXT: Cool Nickname
Goof Troop? Ha! Well, OK, it's not that funny.

Ya know when teams that have been together a long time win a championship, the color guy always has some cool story about them? "When these guys were rookies…" Well, if you expect to be calling NBA Finals games in about eight years, you should read this story about some of the Miami Heat's (apologies to Joe Pesci) "yoots." Basically, a group including Michael Beasley, Joel Anthony, Daequan Cook and Mario Chalmers is calling themselves "The Goof Troop." It's a little cheesy, but then again, "B-Eazy" can be like that too. Allow us to make a comedian analogy for a second. If these guys are like, early-era Chris Rock, does that make D-Wade into a Bernie Mac figure? Oh, that was fun. (Complete tangent: for a good discussion of comedy, go here.)
