He flirted with a senate run a few years ago, but this seems a lot more plausible for Mike Ditka. And frankly, if a t-shirt is a proxy platform, then we're ready to formally endorse Da Coach for the top seat in Illinois. Think about it: a lot of the traits we pine for in our politicians are the exact traits we adore in our favorite coaches. Of course wins and losses in football can't be masked by a good speech or clever accounting. Either way, grab the t-shirt and get behind the movement. The coach will need the dough if he wants the kind of slush fund coffers that make politics go in the Land of Lincoln. First up: trading Carbondale for Ricky Williams!
