The NEXT: NFC Playoffs
Giants got a nice win over the Panthers. Will they see each other again?

This has been cool to do for the past few weeks, so here we go again. The Giants are No. 1. Cool! We think the Panthers, who are in, will ultimately become the No. 2. We also think the Vikings should wrap this thing up and get the No. 3, with the what-has-happened-to-them-of-late Arizona Cardinals (easy answer: snow) at No. 4. The Atlanta Falcons grab No. 5 (is that the biggest story of the year? It may be) and we'll take the Cowboys at No. 6, because even though the Eagles need a win in that game too, we can't see the 'Boys work this hard and have it be all for naught. Important question: will Jessica Simpson be in the heezy? This gives you Cowboys/Vikings (ooh, that'll be good), in which we'll take the Boys just to set up the next round, and Cardinals/Falcons, in which we're going Birds. The Divisional Weekend would then be: Giants/Cowboys in frigid New Jersey ("Chapter II" off of last year) and Panthers/Falcons. Hm, we'll take the G-Men in that environment, but what if the Falcons win that second game? Wow. Falcons in the NFC Title game with a rookie QB? What if the Ravens could do that too? Craziness.
