Reed saves. In a way, and thanks to the Interwebs.
The number one hot search on Google as of the morning of January 7th is "have a ball." It refers to various things, including a Today Show segment from this morning, but gets a lot of web traffic directed at the "Have A Ball Foundation" for cancer research. One other main hit? Ed Reed of the Baltimore Ravens, thanks to sentences such as "…when you have a ball hawk like Reed" and "…Kerry Collins must have (the) ball protected against the Ravens Saturday." In a way, then, Ed Reed is helping make the non-football world a better place. It was only a matter of time, no?
