Ashley Force took home a win in Houston over the weekend.
In the April 6th issue of ESPN The Magazine we've got a feature about drag racing royalty the Force family called "The Gravity of Speed." You've probably heard of the Forces from their reality series Driving Force, but what you might not know is that the family has had a rocky time of their drag racing success. Beginning with the death of a close family friend, and then John Force's own near-death accident, the family has been forced to rethink the design of the cars that have made them famous. Now with daughter Ashley in the driver's seat (she won at Houston this weekend) it's more important than ever. We've also giving you a Behind The Story by writer Ryan McGee and an Answer Guy on the origins of the term "funny car".
