For Love Or The Game: Ray Whitney and Matt Cullen
Who knows the Carolina Wing better: his wife Brijet or his teammate, Matt Cullen?
What is "For Love Or The Game?"
Before he played hockey professionally, Carolina Hurricanes left wing Ray Whitney was a stick boy for the Edmonton Oilers (when Wayne Gretzky was still on their roster). Since then, the 5'10" Canadian has played in the WHL, IHL, AHL and, since 1991, the NHL. His wife, Brijet, has known him since high school; his teammate, Matt Cullen, has known him since 2005. They won a Stanley Cup championship together in '06, and this yea they have helped lead the 'Canes into the playoffs. When it comes to all things Ray, Brijet should have the edge, but let's see who knows him better in this installment of For Love or the Game.
