Mag Flashback: Elijah Dukes
Interestingly, the name of the feature when it ran was "Tick, Tick, Tick..."

This is a rather cool picture of Dukes, no?
If you watch Pardon the Interruption, you may have seen Michael Wilbon yesterday call the Washington Nationals "the worst franchise in all four major pro sports." (The "Natinals" jersey thing was just one of the points made.) They just fined Elijah Dukes for being late, but he was working with Little Leaguers. Well, now the Little League is going to pay the fine. With all this going on, we wanted to bring back a pretty seminal Dukes feature, by Mr. Chris Jones; it ran last spring in ESPN The Magazine and you can read it here. It's a good read on an interesting dude. Enjoy.
