2009 NBA Playoffs Theme: Big-time PGs Going Home
Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Tony Parker: no second round for you guys.

And then there was one.
Back in the day when this site didn't get any comments ("back in the day..."), we posted this, which interestingly got 103 of 'em. Basic premise was ranking the NBA's point guards. So, pop quiz, hot shot: if you had to say the five best PGs in the NBA before the playoffs began, is there anyway you get to five without mentioning Chris Paul, Deron Williams, and Tony Parker? Probably not. You could argue against Parker, but the dude can still hang 50 on a bad team on a good night, and does have three rings before 30. Guess what? All three are currently inactive. When the Cs/Bulls series ends, we'll lose either the ROY (D-Rose) or arguably the best player in the playoffs so far (R-Rondo). Point being: it's Chauncey Billups' world, and the rest of us are just living in it.
