ESPNTheMag.Com Presents: All-World Power Rankings
What's the best NBA Draft fashion statement of all-time?

BEST NBA DRAFT FASHION STATEMENT EVER? WE LIKE JOAKIM NOAH, HONESTLY
What is All-World Power Rankings?
Tonight is the NBA Draft Lottery. It's not the NBA Draft itself, although we've met a few people over the years who are easily confused by the two events and what they mean. Still, it commences Draft season (if you believe Draft season wasn't commenced when the Kings got their 40th loss…in December), so it got us in the mood to talk draft fashions. Interestingly, we once did a video on this very topic. Here now: a list of the most amazing NBA Draft fashion statements we've ever witnessed. If you arrived at this page hoping for information just about the NBA Draft lottery, we suggest you go here. Enjoy the list, and as always, hit us up with any ideas on other people that should have made it.
| TOP 5 | |||
| RANK (YESTERDAY) | WHAT | WHY | |

1 (145) | JOAKIM NOAH (2007) | Here's the video and here's a classic pic. He had a heckuva series against the C's, too, so him going No. 9 seems fairly valid. |

2 (102) | KARL MALONE (1985) | You can find the video here at the 1:15 mark. The pic is here. Rocking the short tie is amazing. |

3 (84) | SAMAKI WALKER (1996) | Here's "the vid." Kinda reminds us of this, honestly, although a lil' less patriotic. Whatever happened to Samaki Walker, by the way? Ah, here's the answer. |

4 (71) | JALEN ROSE (1994) | We're not homers. The red stripe rock is pretty filthy as a garment, though. |
![]() |
5 (920) | HAKEEM THE DREAM (1984) | Dude is looking so sharp. |
| HONORABLE MENTION | |||
| RANK (YESTERDAY) | WHAT | WHY | |
![]() |
12 (404) | STEVE NASH (1996) | Just watch this video. How different and overall dorky does he look in comparison to how we know him now? Wow, people mature in interesting ways. Side note: how insane is the 1996 NBA Draft? Kobe and Nash in the teens? |
![]() |
28 (99) | CHARLES BARKLEY (1984) | Really like the dapper red, almost as much as the semi-pornstache that D. Stern is rocking on that clip. |
| RISING AND FALLING | ||
| MOVEMENT | WHAT | |
![]() |
| BRANDON JENNINGS (Dood will wear something flashy this year.) |
![]() |
| CRAIG SAGER (It's a shame this thing isn't on TNT anymore, isn't it?) |
