Nick Saban bailed before the season. Cam Cameron went 1-15 as a first-year coach before he was fired. Parcells and his acolytes might help, but they arrived too late to lift the Fins from the third to last spot (ahead of the Rams and Falcons) among NFL coaches. That's one reason the Miami faithful stayed away from Dolphin Stadium in droves in 2007; attendance was down 15.2% over the prior season. Another reason: Not only was there very little to see on the field, but ownership had the nerve to charge 11.4% more to see it. The Tuna and new boss Tony Sparano might rise through next year's Coaching ranks, but at last glance, their cupboard still looks pretty bare. -Andy Kamenetzky
