You have to hand it to Minnesota, which had a nine-spot bump. Or do you? On the one hand, the Vikes dug out of the Love Boat scandal. On the other hand, Bryant McKinnie's February arrest—he pled not guilty and goes to trial in June—after a street brawl did not echo the code of conduct championed by owner Zygi Wilf. On the one hand, the team froze prices for many of their season tickets in 2007, which helped them move out of triple-digit range for affordability. On the other hand, a ticket once priced at $19.61, in honor of the franchise's first year, goes to $25 next season. No show of hands necessary for fan disgust with Brad Childress and the increasingly horrific Metrodome experience. The fans are even turning on each other. One blogger wrote of a Viking backer, "Dude, your Doleman jersey may have been cool in the early '90s, but it's time to get with it." The same can be said for the franchise. -Doug Mittler
