There's no denying Reliant Stadium's charm and general awesomeness. Because the arena is built on a vertical slope, the seats virtually hover above the action, and the overhanging retractable roof makes for deafening acoustics. "Bob McNair created the stadium with the fans in mind," says Tim McHale, a blogger for Battle Red Blog. "Tons of food and drink options, ample restrooms and a club level so elaborate (flat-screen every few feet, tons of bars, etc.), many people forget to get to their seats in time for kickoff." With management actively responsive to surveys and focus groups, the Texans bend over backward to please fans, even if the team—no playoff appearance in its six-year history—can't. Of course, all that extra-special attention comes with a price: $62.41 average ticket price, $5 dogs and $6 brews. "Best way to get around that is with tailgating," says McHale. "Oh, and flasks. Those help too." Especially if you're watching the team. - Morty Ain
