Every night at GM Place, a member of the truly faithful is thanked on the Jumbotron and awarded a signed jersey. A recent Season Ticketholder of the Game honoree was Ike Neubert, age 80, who has held his seats since 1958, 12 years before the Canucks were even a part of the NHL. He's just one of the crazies who have packed GM Place to 101.1% capacity this season despite shelling out $95.86 in per-game costs, highest in the NHL and nearly 40% above the league average. For those prices, fans are certifiable if they don't complain about a team that hasn't made it past the second round since a Finals run in 1994 and has replaced a group of high-fliers with low-scoring plodders. The Canucks are still the only game in town, but how much longer can the Ike's of the world hang on? - Brian Kamenetzky
