Happy birthday, Shannon Bobbitt! The pint-sized basketball player turns 28 today. One of eight children, the New York native helped guide the Tennessee Lady Vols to back-to-back national championships in 2007 and 2008. Alongside her college teammate Candace Parker, Bobbitt was drafted by the Los Angeles Sparks with the 15th pick in the 2008 WNBA Draft. She played with the Sparks for two seasons before spending time with the Indiana Fever and the Washington Mystics. Released by the Mystics in 2012, Bobbitt has since played overseas and runs free basketball clinics for young girls in New York City. Standing at just 5-foot-2, she is believed to be the shortest WNBA player of all time.
