Philadelphia Soul WR Chris Jackson was selected as the 2008 Offensive Player of the Year as voted by AFL head coaches, fans, players and the Arena Football League Writers Association.

Philadelphia Soul WR Chris Jackson was selected as the 2008 Offensive Player of the Year as voted by AFL head coaches, fans, players and the Arena Football League Writers Association.

Jackson, who earned All-Arena first team honors, led the AFL in receiving touchdowns (49) and first downs (111) while ranking second in receptions (140), receiving yards (1,719), scoring (294 points) and yards from scrimmage (1,717).

Jackson tied for the league lead among receivers with two games of six-or-more receiving touchdowns while becoming the first player in AFL history to earn Offensive Player of the Year honors with two teams. He also won the award in 2003 as a member of the Los Angeles Avengers.

Other players receiving votes were Orlando WR T.T. Toliver, Philadelphia QB Matt D'Orazio and Utah QB Joe Germaine.
