LOS ANGELES -- Quarterback Brett Dietz threw for 224 yards and five touchdowns to help the Tampa Bay Storm win their third consecutive game with a 40-37 victory over the Los Angeles Avengers on Saturday night.

Terrill Shaw had six receptions for 100 yards and one touchdown and T.T. Toliver added six catches for 53 yards and two touchdowns for Tampa Bay (4-6).

Quarterback Sonny Cumbie was 20 of 42 for 187 yards and four touchdowns with one interception for the Avengers (5-5). Kevin Ingram led all Avengers' receivers with 10 receptions for 93 yards and one touchdown.
