Graziani throws four scores in Philly's biggest win in franchise history
PHILADELPHIA -- Tony Graziani threw four touchdown passes in his return to the Philadelphia Soul lineup, and the defense got three touchdowns in the largest victory in franchise history, 78-34 over the New Orleans VooDoo on Monday night.
The Soul (5-6) broke a six-game losing streak. Graziani was 7-of-15 for 81 yards and connected with four different receivers for touchdowns before exiting the game during the third quarter.
The Soul led at halftime 41-21 after Eddie Moten picked off VooDoo quarterback Andy Kelly twice, running one back for a touchdown. In all, Philadelphia forced five turnovers.
Andy Kelly completed 16 of 26 passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns, both to Tyronne Jones, for New Orleans (4-7). Jones had seven receptions for 78 yards, and Wendel Williams caught 10 passes for 96 yards and one touchdown.
Graziani injured his shoulder after the Soul won their first four games.
