Chael Sonnen sentenced

Chael Sonnen was sentenced to two years of probation and a $10,000 fine by Judge Michael W. Mosman Friday in Portland, Ore., for a guilty plea on a federal charge of money laundering stemming from a real estate incident in 2006.

The UFC middleweight's real estate license was also revoked.

On Jan. 3, Sonnen admitted his involvement in a scheme to fraudulently collect more than $69,000. According to reports by The Oregonian, the money was a portion of a bank loan sent to a plumbing ...
