The Associated Press will suspend text and photo coverage of the England cricket tour of India from midnight in India (1830 GMT) because Indian cricket authorities have imposed new restrictions on photographers covering the tour.

The AP will continue working with the News Media Coalition, a consortium of international media, with hopes of resolving the issues and will update customers with developments.
