Start 'em, sit 'em

You'll want to make sure you start Sixers center Samuel Dalembert on Monday against the Cavs. The Cavs' big men have had some trouble with Dalembert, as he is averaging 13.5 points, 14.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocks on 69 percent shooting from the floor in two games against the Cavs this season. … In one game against the Wizards this season, Troy Murphy had 13 points and eight rebounds. Not bad, but he didn't make any 3-pointers, and Washington is generally ineffective in guarding the perimeter. I'd expect his luck to improve a little this time. If the Pacers can go small, Murphy should be able to get plenty of open looks because Brendan Haywood is reluctant to step out and guard his man away from the basket. … In his previous game against the Jazz, the Rockets' Luis Scola finished with 18 points, six rebounds and three assists. With the stakes raised this time around and Scola playing terrific basketball lately, I'd expect him to at least match those numbers in Utah on Monday. … As I wrote in Sunday's notes, Ricky Davis is putting together some good games of late. In his past five games, he's shooting 49 percent from the floor and averaging 14.8 points, 5.4 assists, 5.4 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 0.6 blocks. He's also on fire from behind the arc, going 15-for-24 over his past three contests. He'll have his opportunities to score against the Raptors and is certainly worth keeping in your lineup while his hot streak continues.

Waiver-wire pickups

Ownership of the Raptors' Anthony Parker has fallen off some in recent weeks because his usually great shooting from everywhere on the floor has dipped a bit. A date with the Miami Heat should be just the thing to fix Parker's problems, as the Heat backcourt of Ricky Davis and Chris Quinn is not exactly known for its defensive prowess. Parker is available in around 40 percent of fantasy leagues and could be a huge bargain if he's able to be his normal self for the balance of the season. … For Monday's matchup between the Suns and the Warriors, it's possible that the Warriors will already be out of contention for the playoffs. Theoretically, that would mean fewer minutes for the Warriors' studs, but in this case, I think they'll want to finish out the season with as many wins as possible, especially if it means beating the Suns. A lot of points will be put up in this game. The guy to pick up off the waiver wire is Boris Diaw. He plays more minutes against Golden State than he does against almost any other team, and he's averaging 10.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists in three games against Golden State this season. The Warriors will likely try to run Shaquille O'Neal out of the game, so you can still expect similar numbers for Diaw this time around. … Mo Williams missed Saturday night's game with an abdominal strain, and there seems to be a decent chance that he'll be limited for Monday night's game against the Bulls. If that's the case and you need to make a late push in assists, go ahead and add Ramon Sessions. The Bucks rookie point guard has racked up at least six assists in his past eight games and at least 10 in his past three. He won't give you much scoring, but he's the best place to look for assists for the final two games of the season.
