Devin Harris has been in and out of the lineup this season, but is back healthy and notched 15 points, 5 assists and 3 steals in 36 minutes Thursday night. Get him back in your lineup. ... Ben Wallace notched his first double-digit rebounding performance of the season Thursday night, and going up against the red-hot Chris Kaman will be a good test to indicate whether he'll be able to do it on a regular basis this season. Perhaps the addition of Andres Nocioni to the starting lineup had something to do with Wallace's recent success. ... Kenyon Martin has been cleared to play in back-to-back games, and should see his minutes increase significantly as long as his knee stays healthy. He's done well in limited time this season and when healthy, sports a delicious combination of steals, blocks, boards and field-goal percentage. He could be in line for a nice game against the disheveled Knicks' squad. ... Udonis Haslem has averaged more than 13 shots during his past four games and is a nightly threat for double-digit rebounds. Since taking more of an offensive role this season, his field-goal percentage has dropped from .492 last season to .445 currently, but the trade-off is that he's averaging three more points, two more rebounds and twice as many blocks. ... Bonzi Wells had 21 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocks Wednesday night, and is recently thriving as Rick Adelman's sixth man.
Grant Hill is playing his best ball yet with the Suns and simultaneously killing Boris Diaw's value. Hill still has enough gas to be fantasy-relevant, especially with his efficient scoring and the Suns' statistically lucrative offensive game plan. Hill has scored in double-digits and, more importantly, logged at least 36 minutes in each of the Suns' past four games, highlighted by Thursday's 21-point, near-perfect shooting night. ... With Luke Ridnour out for 2-4 weeks with a quadriceps injury, Delonte West should get serious run, even though Earl Watson will remain the starter. West is a superior overall player and, in deeper leagues, is start-worthy as long as Ridnour is sidelined. ... J.R. Smith has been seeing significant minutes at point guard lately, and has impressed George Karl. This is a good sign, both for his minutes total and peripheral stats. Once a one-category wonder able to pour in the 3-pointers, Smith will become more of an all-around threat if he's distributing the ball to Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony. ... Jarrett Jack has found his niche coming off the bench as instant offense for the Blazers, and while he was awful in the first few games of the season, he's back to the point where he's worth owning in most leagues, and starting in deep leagues.
