Andre Miller will be a good start for Philly against Atlanta. He's too big for Tyronn Lue, and opposing point guards have been able to have their way with the Hawks all season. By the same token, Louis Williams also might be able to put together a high-scoring night against the Atlanta defense. LaMarcus Aldridge looks like a good start for Portland against Memphis, as the Grizzlies don't really have a great option for defending big guys on the perimeter. I'm expecting a big night for the Mavs' Jason Terry, as he should be able to play off the ball with Devin Harris against the Bulls' smallish backcourt. Chicago will force teams to shoot it from the perimeter, and Dallas probably will make the Bulls pay for it. Terry is in line to score a-plenty and hit some 3-pointers. It's becoming a pattern, but I'd sit Andris Biedrins for Golden State when the Warriors go up against Dwight Howard and Orlando. Biedrins fouls a lot, and Howard gets to the line a lot. That's a terrible combination for the Warriors. On the other side, I'd be starting Stephen Jackson against Rashard Lewis, who is pretty lax on the defensive end.
If Chris Bosh continues to miss time because of his groin injury, the Raptors will have to look more to backup center Rasho Nesterovic. Nesterovic is not a good long-term pickup, but he could be a good source of rebounds and blocks in the short term if Bosh is out. He should be able to put together a good game against the Bobcats, who haven't defended traditional centers well this year. Jamario Moon also has a chance to put up better numbers for the Raptors while Bosh is out. He's worth a pickup already thanks to his potential in blocks and steals, but he shoots a good percentage from the floor and should be able to accumulate more points and rebounds as his minutes increase. Between injuries and disappointing play, Kyle Korver has had a rough start to the season for Philadelphia. But he is an elite 3-point shooter, and he should turn it around sometime in the near future. If you have room on your bench, pick him up and stash him, although I wouldn't start him against the Hawks, who defend the perimeter pretty well and have big, quick outside defenders to bother Korver's shot. Utah's Paul Millsap should be a good pickup against Miami. With Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur nursing injuries, Millsap should be in line for plenty of minutes on Utah's front line. He'll have a tough matchup with Udonis Haslem, but Millsap only needs playing time to be an effective fantasy player, and now he might get some.
