Both Luol Deng and Andres Nocioni should be able to put together good games against Orlando's tandem of Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu. Most teams aren't quick enough to defend Lewis and Turkoglu, but Nocioni and Deng should be able to deal with those guys and stay on the floor at the same time more than usual. Jason Richardson has been money for the Bobcats on 3-pointers this season, shooting them at a 45 percent clip and leading the league in 3s per game. Indiana lets teams shoot a ridiculous 38 percent from behind the arc on the season, which should make for a great night for J-Rich. Sticking with 3-pointer possibilities, it could be a good night to play Golden State's Al Harrington against Yao Ming and the Rockets. When Yao's on the floor, I'd expect Don Nelson to spread the floor by keeping Harrington outside on offense to draw Yao away from the paint. If Yao is slow to rotate, it could mean a lot of wide-open looks for Harrington. Although he might be my favorite fantasy player this season, I can admit that Toronto point guard Jose Calderon isn't going to make any all-defensive teams anytime soon. As such, he's going to be shredded by the Hornets' Chris Paul on Monday, which should mean plenty of open drive-and-kick 3s for Peja Stojakovic and Morris Peterson, both of whom you should definitely be starting.
Pistons rookie guard Rodney Stuckey has only been back for four games, but he finally put together a nice night in Detroit's blowout win over the Pacers on Friday. In just 18 minutes he had 10 points, three rebounds, three assists and an impressive three steals. He also showed an ability to get to the line and convert, going 6-for-6. His minutes were inflated because Detroit was up by 23 at the half and rested the starters, but Stuckey is clearly a talented rookie on a team that could use some stability off the bench in the backcourt. I like him a lot in keeper leagues right now, and if he can steal some of Arron Afflalo's and Jarvis Hayes' minutes, he could be valuable in fantasy leagues this season. Consider him against Milwaukee Monday night only if you need steals. Bonzi Wells is suffering from some flu-like symptoms, but he played Friday night, and if he can go, he's has a very favorable matchup with Golden State on Monday. The Warriors always go small, and Bonzi's a great rebounder when he's not at a big size disadvantage. I like Jarrett Jack for the Trail Blazers against the Jazz. I think he'll need to play big minutes because I don't think Steve Blake can handle Deron Williams or Ronnie Brewer defensively. Also, Utah's interior defense leaves a lot to be desired, so if Jack can get by Deron Williams, he should have no trouble getting to the rim. Sam Cassell had a nice night in his first extended playing time since his injury against Phoenix Friday night, going for 21 points on 8-for-16 shooting to go along with nine rebounds and five assists. We'll find out if he can keep taking advantage of good matchups when he goes up against the defensively challenged Sebastian Telfair and the Timberwolves Monday night. Personally, I'm expecting a big game out of Cassell against his old team.
