Updates/analysis (most recent first)

7:21 p.m. ET -- Westbrook officially out -- As expected, Brian Westbrook has been declared inactive for the Eagles prior to the Sunday night game. LeSean McCoy will start in his place versus the Cowboys.

3:16 p.m. ET -- That wraps up the 4:00 p.m. games. Remember that Adam Schefter has reported that Brian Westbrook will not play for the Eagles tonight. We'll be here to make it official -- as well as make sure there are no surprises for the Eagles or Cowboys -- around 7:20 p.m. ET. Good luck today.

3:15 p.m. ET -- Lance Moore inactive -- We previously reported that Lance Moore would not play today, and he's officially inactive.

2:54 p.m. ET -- Super Mario active for G-Men -- Mario Manningham is active for the Giants after missing last week's game with a shoulder injury. Although there's no telling how targets will be split between Manningham, Steve Smith and Hakeem Nicks, at least fantasy owners can feel comfortable that Manningham will be on the field.

2:50 p.m. ET -- Lions at full strength in Seattle -- Both Calvin Johnson (knee) and Kevin Smith (shoulder) are active for the Lions today. While there's no guarantee that either gets a full workload (and there is rain in the forecast for the game, which could affect Johnson), fantasy owners who have waited to this point to make a decision probably have to leave both in their starting lineup.

2:39 p.m. ET -- Jake Delhomme, Jonathan Stewart active -- Jake Delhomme (chest) and Jonathan Stewart (Achilles) are both active for the Panthers today. Stewart could be a decent flex option, especially with Sedrick Ellis out for the Saints. Meanwhile, Dante Rosario and Muhsin Muhammad are both inactive.

12:51 p.m. ET -- That's it for the early games. I'll be back around 2:45 p.m. ET to start tracking the late-game inactives. The big players to watch will be the Giants' Mario Manningham and the Lions' Calvin Johnson and Kevin Smith. While we've already reported that Megatron will start today, fantasy owners would be wise to pay close attention between 3:00 and 4:00 to make sure he doesn't have a pre-game setback.

12:16 p.m. ET -- Jermichael Finley, Jordy Nelson inactive -- The Packers will be without tight end Jermichael Finley and wide receiver Jordy Nelson today, as both are inactive. This matters only for extremely deep leagues, but wide receiver James Jones and converted-linebacker-now-tight-end Spencer Havner should get extra opportunities.

12:11 p.m. ET -- Benjamin Watson active -- Despite being limited in practice this week by a back injury, Benjamin Watson is active for the Patrios today.

12:09 p.m. ET -- Todd Heap active -- As expected, Todd Heap is active despite his ankle injury. Worth noting that Heap caught a season-high seven passes in the first game against the Bengals earlier this season.

12:04 p.m. ET -- Antonio Bryant inactive -- In his first NFL start, rookie Josh Freeman will not have No. 1 wide receiver Antonio Bryant, who is inactive because of his knee injury. Maurice Stovall will start in Bryant's place but can't be considered a fantasy option in anything but the deepest of leagues.

12:02 p.m. ET -- Roddy White active -- Matt Ryan will have Roddy White in the lineup today as he looks to break out of a recent slump. White returned to practice on Friday after sitting out the previous two days with a knee injury.

11:59 a.m. ET -- Donald Driver active -- Despite missing practice time this week with a neck injury, Donald Driver is acitve for the Packers today.

11:55 a.m. ET -- Haloti Ngata inactive -- The Ravens will be without run-stuffing defensive lineman Haloti Ngata today, which is yet another reason to be unafraid to start Cedric Benson.

11:51 a.m. ET -- Devin Hester active -- The Bears will have No. 1 wide receiver Devin Hester in the lineup today, as he is active. He was battling an ankle injury.

11:50 a.m. ET -- Anquan Boldin inactive -- In a surprise, Anquan Boldin is inactive for the Cardinals today. Steve Breaston obviously becomes a much better fantasy option now.

11:42 a.m. ET -- Chris Chambers active -- Chris Chambers is active today in his debut with the Chiefs. He's not an appealing fantasy option right now, but deep leaguers might consider picking him up for possible future value.

11:40 a.m. ET -- Donald Brown inactive -- John Clayton reports that Donald Brown is inactive for the Colts today. Joseph Addai should get a full workload against the Texans.

11:36 a.m. ET -- Calvin Johnson will start -- Chris Mortenson reports that Calvin Johnson will start for the Lions today. Since it's a late game, fantasy owners would be wise to check the inactives after 3:00 p.m. ET to make sure Megatron doesn't have a setback in pre-game warmups.

11:23 a.m. ET -- Brian Westbrook out? -- Sources have told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Brian Westbrook is not expected to play tonight against the Cowboys. Westbrook sat out practice on Friday after going on Wednesday and Thursday. He's been recovering from a concussion. The Eagles have not confirmed his status, but fantasy owners should be prepared to make other plans and probably can't risk waiting until 8:00 p.m. unless they have other running backs playing tonight or tomorrow night. LeSean McCoy should start if Westbrook is out.
