Updates/analysis (most recent first)
7:51 p.m. ET -- More Patriots news -- ESPNBoston.com reports that S Brandon Meriweather (foot, questionable), QB Tom Brady (right shoulder, probable) and TEs Benjamin Watson (back, probable) and Chris Baker (shoulder, questionable) are all active for the Patriots. No real surprises here, and Brady is (obviously) the most fantasy-relevant of the bunch.
7:50 p.m. ET -- Julian Edelman active -- ESPNBoston.com reports that WR Julian Edelman (forearm, questionable) is active for the Patriots. He's likely to split up the targets that don't go to the team's starters with Sam Aiken and Isaiah Stanback, so don't count on any of the three for fantasy purposes this week.
7:49 p.m. ET -- Morris, Taylor inactive -- ESPNBoston.com reports that both RBs Sammy Morris (knee, out) and Fred Taylor (ankle, out) are inactive for the Patriots, as expected. Laurence Maroney will get the start again and warrants flex-play consideration.
7:47 p.m. ET -- More Colts inactives -- ESPNBoston.com reports that both WR Anthony Gonzalez (knee, out) and K Adam Vinatieri (right knee, out) are inactive for the Colts. With Gonzalez out again, Pierre Garcon gets another start at flanker, though Austin Collie (neck, not on injury report) is also active and will see a handful of targets.
7:46 p.m. ET -- Donald Brown active -- ESPNBoston.com reports that RB Donald Brown (shoulder, not on injury report) is active for the Colts, as expected. It's not an elite matchup for Brown unfortunately, and his presence might serve more to detract from Joseph Addai's fantasy appeal, canceling each other out effectively.
3:21 p.m. ET -- More Eagles inactives -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that both LB Akeem Jordan (knee, out) and WR Kevin Curtis (knee, out) are inactive for the Eagles.
3:20 p.m. ET -- Jeremy Maclin active -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that WR Jeremy Maclin (foot, probable) is active for the Eagles. Maclin can be used as a No. 3/4 in deeper leagues.
3:19 p.m. ET -- Shawne Merriman active -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that LB Shawne Merriman (foot, questionable)
3:18 p.m. ET -- LaDainian Tomlinson active -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that RB LaDainian Tomlinson (hip, probable) is active for the Chargers. Though most LT2 owners can't really afford to bench him, I'll go on record saying I think his combination of poor performance and weak matchup make him a shaky fantasy option for Week 10.
3:17 p.m. ET -- Antonio Gates active -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that TE Antonio Gates (foot, probable) is active for the Chargers. Start him -- as if you need us to tell you that!
3:15 p.m. ET -- Matt Hasselbeck active -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that QB Matt Hasselbeck (right shoulder, probable) is active for the Seahawks. The matchup is a decent one for Hasselbeck, but don't mistake it for an elite one; remember that the Cardinals bring a strong pass rush, the Seahawks lack strength in the offensive line and the last time these teams played, the Cardinals bottled up the entire Seahawks offense.
3:13 p.m. ET -- Brian Westbrook active -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that RB Brian Westbrook (concussion, probable) is active for the Eagles. He'll presumably start and get the bulk of the carries, though LeSean McCoy might spell him on occasion. The matchup is still strong enough to make Westbrook worth using in most leagues. RB Leonard Weaver (ankle, probable) is also active, though he'll return to a traditional backup role with Westbrook back.
3:10 p.m ET -- Marion Barber active -- The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that RB Marion Barber (thumb, probable) is active for the Cowboys. He's well worth using as a No. 2/flex option.
3:10 p.m. ET -- DeMarcus Ware active -- The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that LB DeMarcus Ware (foot, probable) is active for the Cowboys. Considering the state of the Packers' offensive line, Ware is a solid IDP play.
2:56 p.m. ET -- More Cardinals inactives -- The Cardinals' official Web site reports that TE Ben Patrick (knee, questionable) is inactive, though both CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (finger, probable) and S Antrel Rolle (foot, probable) are active. With Patrick out, Stephen Spach will step in at tight end, not that you really want a Cardinals tight end in your fantasy lineup (Week 9 notwithstanding).
2:54 p.m. ET -- Boldin, Breaston active -- The Cardinals' official Web site reports that both WRs Anquan Boldin (ankle, probable) and Steve Breaston (knee, probable) are active. No real surprises here, and while Boldin is the stronger No. 2/3 of the two, Breaston does have some deeper-league appeal facing the Seahawks.
2:53 p.m. ET -- Other Packers notes -- The Packers' official Web site reports that WR Jordy Nelson (knee, probable) and CB Charles Woodson (hip, probable) are active. Nelson has seemingly dropped to fourth on the depth chart, though, with James Jones having performed well in his absence out of the No. 3 role.
2:52 p.m. ET -- Aaron Rodgers active -- The Packers' official Web site reports that QB Aaron Rodgers (feet, probable) is active. No surprise, and he's a must-start, though this might not be one of his best games being that the Cowboys do pressure the passer effectively.
2:51 p.m. ET -- Jermichael Finley inactive -- The Packers' official Web site reports that TE Jermichael Finley (knee, out) is inactive. Another week of the Donald Lee-Spencer Havner tandem, one in which Havner is the more attractive fantasy play if you need dig that deep.
2:46 p.m. ET -- Raiders get McFadden, Schilens back -- Both RB Darren McFadden (knee, probable) and WR Chaz Schilens (foot, probable) are active for the Raiders, reports the Web site of their opponent, the Chiefs. It's unclear whether either one will start, as the Raiders were playing their roles hush-hush heading into the week, so take a wait-and-see approach to McFadden if you can at all afford it. It's still possible Justin Fargas will get the bulk of the carries, and it bears noting that Michael Bush is also active. In other Raiders news, WR Javon Walker (hamstring, out) and DE Greg Ellis (knee, questionable) are inactive.
2:45 p.m. ET -- Chris Chambers active -- The Chiefs' official Web site reports that WR Chris Chambers (foot, probable) is active. He'll start, but is only a No. 3/4 option for those hurting at the position. Lance Long might actually be a better sleeper play from the Chiefs' offense.
12:10 p.m. ET -- Dolphins inactives -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that G Justin Smiley (shoulder, doubtful), TE Anthony Fasano (hip, questionable) and LB Joey Porter (knee, probable) are all inactive for the Dolphins. Smiley's absence is somewhat notable, as he was a key run blocker for the team. With him out, Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams might have a tougher time racking up elite fantasy totals, not that you should go out of your way to bench either of course.
12:08 p.m. ET -- More Falcons news -- The Falcons' official Web site reports that WR Michael Jenkins (illness, questionable) and LB Curtis Lofton (knee, probable) are both active, though WR Brian Finneran (knee, questionable) is inactive. The Falcons' receiving corps enters the week healthier than expected a few days ago, but Jenkins just doesn't occupy a prime enough role to warrant fantasy consideration.
12:06 p.m. ET -- More Panthers news -- The Panthers' official Web site reports that RB Brad Hoover (ankle, doubtful) is inactive, though TE Dante Rosario (knee, questionable), K John Kasay (left groin, probable) and DE Julius Peppers (hand, probable) are all active. Rosario's status bears watching, as the Panthers currently have a three-headed tight end attack. Jeff King and Gary Barnidge are also there to cut into Rosario's number of targets, and it's Barnidge who is on the most notable hot streak if you must pick one of them for your fantasy team (but you shouldn't).
12:06 p.m. ET -- Muhsin Muhammad active -- The Panthers' official Web site reports that WR Muhsin Muhammad (knee, questionable) is active. He's not an advised fantasy play, being that Dwayne Jarrett still lurks to cut into his number of targets.
12:04 p.m. ET -- Antoine Winfield sits again -- The Vikings' official Web site reports that CB Antoine Winfield (foot, out) is again inactive. This is one of the primary reasons Calvin Johnson has a good matchup. In other Vikings IDP news, LB E.J. Henderson (knee, probable) is active.
12:03 p.m. ET -- Brett Favre active -- The Vikings' official Web site reports that QB Brett Favre (hip, probable) is active. Shocking. Did you really think he'd sit? It's a fantastic matchup for him at home versus the Lions. Go nuts.
12:02 p.m. ET -- Brad Smith active -- The Jets' official Web site reports that WR Brad Smith (quadricep, probable) is active. He and David Clowney will share targets among the Nos. 3/4 wide receivers for the team, making neither a viable fantasy play.
12:01 p.m. ET -- Trent Edwards returns -- The Bills' official Web site reports that QB Trent Edwards (head, probable) is active and back at quarterback. He's not a recommended fantasy choice, though, poor-performing as he was before getting hurt. In other Bills inactives news, WR Roscoe Parrish (knee, questionable) is out.
12:00 p.m. ET -- Harper out, Finnegan in -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that CB Nick Harper (forearm, questionable) is inactive, though CB Cortland Finnegan (hamstring, probable) is active, for the Titans. Finnegan's presence gives the Titans' defense a fighting chance, though he's a lower-level IDP choice.
12:00 p.m. ET -- LenDale White active -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that RB LenDale White (illness, probable) is active for the Titans. White isn't a recommended play despite the favorable matchup on paper; this is really the Chris Johnson show.
11:59 a.m. ET -- Justin Gage inactive -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that WR Justin Gage (back, out) is inactive for the Titans. Expect Kenny Britt to start in his place, though it's not a matchup worth exploiting except in desperation circumstances.
11:57 a.m. ET -- Megatron, Stafford active -- The Lions' official Web site reports that both WR Calvin Johnson (knee, probable) and QB Matthew Stafford (knee, probable) are active. You can't trust Stafford coming off a five-interception game, but he should be able to locate Johnson frequently enough facing a weakened secondary to make Megatron a useful fantasy play.
11:55 a.m. ET -- Bills hurting defensively -- The Bills' official Web site reports that LB Keith Ellison (thigh, out), CB Terrence McGee (knee, out) and DT Kyle Williams (knee, out) are all inactive. Chris Johnson has a fabulous matchup for the Titans as a result. In other Bills IDP news, S's Bryan Scott (ankle, probable), Donte Whitner (ankle, questionable) and Jairus Byrd (groin, probable) and DE Aaron Schobel (groin, questionable) are active. Expect Scott to start in Ellison's linebacker spot.
11:54 a.m. ET -- Terrell Owens active -- Confirming the earlier report, WR Terrell Owens (hip, questionable) is active for the Bills.
11:51 a.m. ET -- Jonathan Stewart active -- The Panthers' official Web site reports that RB Jonathan Stewart (achilles, questionable) is active. He'll remain the No. 2 in that backfield, but might see a few more carries this week if you need to rely on him in a deeper league.
11:49 a.m. ET -- Leftwich out, Clayton in -- The Buccaneers' official Web site reports that QB Byron Leftwich (right elbow, questionable) is inactive, though WR Michael Clayton (knee, probable) is active. Neither warrants fantasy consideration, as neither is a high-profile member of the Bucs' offense.
11:48 a.m. ET -- Bryant out, but Ward to play -- The Buccaneers' official Web site confirms that WR Antonio Bryant (knee, doubtful) is inactive. RB Derrick Ward (knee, questionable), meanwhile, is active. He remains no threat to Cadillac Williams' starting job, but might get some passing-down work if you're in a desperate spot.
11:47 a.m. ET -- Brandon Marshall active -- The Denver Post reports that WR Brandon Marshall (back, probable) is active for the Broncos. Though the matchup isn't a great one, he warrants No. 2 fantasy consideration.
11:45 a.m. ET -- Norwood out, Snelling in -- The Falcons' official Web site reports that RB Jerious Norwood (hip, questionable) is inactive, though RB Jason Snelling (hamstring, questionable) is active. Snelling will likely get a decent amount of work on third downs, but he's not a fantasy consideration. Michael Turner, obviously, is the Falcons back to get facing this favorable matchup.
11:44 a.m. ET -- Moore, Hartley inactive -- The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports that both WR Lance Moore (ankle, out) and K Garrett Hartley (left ankle, probable) are inactive for the Saints. Both were expected, and neither was much of a fantasy consideration anyway. John Carney remains the Saints' starting placekicker.
11:42 a.m. ET -- Saints down key defenders -- The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports that DT Sedrick Ellis (knee, out), CB Jabari Greer (groin, out) and S Darren Sharper (knee, questionable) are all inactive for the Saints. Ellis' absence is worth noting here, in addition to the earlier notes on these inactives, as Steven Jackson has a great matchup as a result.
11:42 a.m. ET -- Marques Colston active -- The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports that WR Marques Colston (illness, probable) is active for the Saints. It's a dream matchup for him versus the Rams, so get him into all your lineups.
11:40 a.m. ET -- Roddy White, Bernard Berrian active -- ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that WR Roddy White (knee, questionable) is active for the Falcons, while WR Bernard Berrian (hamstring, questionable) is active for the Vikings. White's news is updating the earlier report, while Berrian's matchup might make him a worthwhile low-level No. 3/4 fantasy wide receiver.
11:38 a.m. ET -- DeAngelo Williams active -- The Panthers' official Web site as well as ESPN's Adam Schefter confirm that RB DeAngelo Williams (knee, questionable) is active. He might share a few more carries with Jonathan Stewart this week, but Stewart is a bit nicked up himself. Williams is well worth having in all fantasy lineups.
11:36 a.m. ET -- Andre Caldwell active -- The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that WR Andre Caldwell (illness, probable) is active for the Bengals. He's the team's No. 3 wide receiver and the matchup is poor, so steer clear for this week.
11:34 a.m. ET -- Jason Campbell active -- The Redskins' official Web site reports that QB Jason Campbell (ankle, probable) is active. No surprise, but the matchup is a poor one for him.
11:33 a.m. ET -- Chris Cooley inactive -- The Redskins' official Web site reports that TE Chris Cooley (ankle, out) is inactive, as expected. Another week, another Fred Davis start, though he's more a No. 2 tight end in fantasy.
11:33 a.m. ET -- Maurice Jones-Drew active -- The Jaguars' official Web site reports that RB Maurice Jones-Drew (knee, probable) is active. No surprise here, and he's a must-start in all formats.
11:30 a.m. ET -- Portis out, but Betts in -- The Redskins' official Web site reports that RB Clinton Portis (concussion, out) is inactive as expected, though RB Ladell Betts (ankle, questionable) is active. The Washington Post previously reported that Betts might be playing at 75 percent health, but he'll most certainly be the third-down back and probably the leading man in all situations. That said, expect both Rock Cartwright and Quinton Ganther to get some work, which cuts into Betts' fantasy appeal. He's more a flex play than a clear starting option.
11:26 a.m. ET -- More good news on DeAngelo -- Both ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen are seconding the previous report that RB DeAngelo Williams (knee, questionable) will be active for the Panthers.
11:24 a.m. ET -- Darren Sharper out -- The Rams' official Web site reports that S Darren Sharper (knee, questionable) is inactive for the opposing Saints. The Saints are also expected to be without DT Sedrick Ellis (knee, out), which stacks the deck for the Rams' passing game, if that's at all possible. Donnie Avery might warrant a start in deeper leagues.
11:03 a.m. ET -- Anquan Boldin due back -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that WR Anquan Boldin (ankle, probable) is likely to play for the Cardinals, after the receiver sat out Week 9. It's a favorable matchup for Boldin, a useful No. 2/3 wide receiver in fantasy.
11:02 a.m. ET -- DeAngelo Williams apparently OK -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that RB DeAngelo Williams (knee, questionable) is likely to play for the Panthers. According to Clayton, Williams warmed up around 10:30 a.m. ET and everything looked fine. Fantasy owners should start Williams the moment he's officially declared active, which he should shortly.
11:00 a.m. ET -- Terrell Owens expected to play -- ESPN's John Clayton reports that WR Terrell Owens (hip, questionable) is "definitely going to play" for the Bills. Considering T.O.'s lackluster production to date as well as the improvement of the Titans' defense lately, he's really only a No. 3/4 wide receiver option this week.
10:27 a.m. ET -- White, Jenkins expected to play -- ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that both WRs Roddy White (knee, questionable) and Michael Jenkins (illness, questionable) are expected to play for the Falcons. White is the only one fantasy owners should be trusting right now, of course.
9:49 a.m. ET -- Antonio Bryant out -- WR Antonio Bryant (knee, doubtful) did not make the trip to Miami, and will sit out Week 10. The Buccaneers will likely start Maurice Stovall in his place again this week, though Sammie Stroughter might be the biggest benefactor. In deeper leagues, Stroughter could be worth a plug-in for the desperate.
