Updates/analysis (most recent first)

Jeremy Maclin inactive (19:26 p.m. ET): The Philadelphia Eagles' official Twitter feed reports that WR Jeremy Maclin (shoulder, questionable) is inactive. DeSean Jackson will be the Eagles' clear No. 1 target in the passing game, but having Vince Young as his quarterback negates somewhat his upside. Jackson remains only a No. 2 fantasy wide receiver. Riley Cooper is expected to start with Jason Avant playing his snaps out of the slot; remember that neither player did much last week when Jackson was sidelined, so why expect either to now?

Michael Vick inactive (19:26 p.m. ET): The Philadelphia Eagles' official Twitter feed reports that QB Michael Vick (ribs, questionable) is inactive. Vince Young will make his first start for the Eagles. He's only a No. 2 option in two-quarterback leagues.

Ahmad Bradshaw inactive (19:26 p.m. ET): Pat Hanlon of the New York Giants reports that RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot, out) is inactive. Brandon Jacobs will make his second straight start, with D.J. Ware backing him up. Jacobs' matchup is much more favorable this week than last; he's a fine No. 2 fantasy running back here.

Mario Manningham active (19:26 p.m. ET): Pat Hanlon of the New York Giants reports that WR Mario Manningham (knee, probable) is active.

Doug Baldwin active (14:59 p.m. ET): The Seattle Seahawks' official Twitter feed reports that WR Doug Baldwin (head, probable) is active. He's worth a look in deeper leagues facing the Rams.

Sidney Rice active (14:59 p.m. ET): The Seattle Seahawks' official Twitter feed reports that WR Sidney Rice (head, probable) is active. He remains Tarvaris Jackson's favorite target, and the matchup is favorable, so take a look at him as a No. 2/3 fantasy wide receiver.

Tarvaris Jackson active (14:58 p.m. ET): The Seattle Seahawks' official Twitter feed reports that QB Tarvaris Jackson (pectoral, probable) is active. He was limited during the practice week, so don't be too quick to proclaim him an excellent bye-week fill-in facing thre Rams. He's a low-end No. 2 fantasy option.

Julio Jones inactive (14:49 p.m. ET): The Atlanta Falcons' official Twitter feed reports that WR Julio Jones (hamstring, questionable) is inactive. Harry Douglas will get another start in Jones' place, though he's unlikely to have quite as productive a day as in Week 10. Consider him more of a No. 4 wide receiver/flex in deeper leagues.

Todd Heap inactive (14:41 p.m. ET): The Arizona Cardinals' official Twitter feed reports that TE Todd Heap (hamstring, questionable) is inactive. Jeff King will get another start in Heap's place, but he's not recommended in fantasy leagues, little as he's used in the passing game.

Beanie Wells active (14:40 p.m. ET): The Arizona Cardinals' official Twitter feed reports that RB Beanie Wells (knee, questionable) is active. He has been dealing with the injury for several weeks now and will be facing a rock-solid 49ers run defense, so consider him, at best, a low-level No. 2 fantasy running back this week.

Kevin Kolb inactive (14:39 p.m. ET): The Arizona Cardinals' official Twitter feed reports that QB Kevin Kolb (toe, questionable) is inactive. John Skelton will get another start, but he's only a fantasy consideration as a No. 2 in a two-quarterback league.

Danario Alexander inactive (14:35 p.m. ET): The St. Louis Rams' official Twitter feed reports that WR Danario Alexander (hamstring, doubtful) is inactive.

Frank Gore active (14:30 p.m. ET): The San Francisco 49ers' official Twitter feed reports that RB Frank Gore (knee, questionable) is active. He wasn't a huge risk to sit, but this is good news nevertheless. It's a favorable matchup for him, so get him into all lineups.

That's all for the 1 p.m. ET games' inactives. Check back around 2:30 p.m. ET for the 4 p.m. games' inactives.

Tony Fiammetta inactive (11:59 a.m. ET): ESPN's John Clayton reports that RB Tony Fiammetta (illness, out) is inactive. Here's another note that detracts somewhat from DeMarco Murray's matchup; he'll be without his lead blocker today. Murray remains a strong fantasy option, but might fall outside the top 10 at his position accounting for this news as well as Felix Jones' active status.

David Nelson active (11:56 a.m. ET): The Buffalo Bills' official Twitter feed reports that WR David Nelson (illness, probable) is active. He might see a few extra targets with Steve Johnson perhaps at less than 100 percent, and the matchup is favorable; he's still a No. 4/flex kind of option.

Dan Carpenter inactive (11:55 a.m. ET): The Miami Dolphins' official Twitter feed reports that K Dan Carpenter (right groin, questionable) is inactive. In case you hadn't heard, Shayne Graham will be the Dolphins' kicker this week.

Matthew Stafford active (11:53 a.m. ET): Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports that QB Matthew Stafford (right finger, probable) is active. He'll wear gloves again but his practice reports were positive, enough so that he remains a strong No. 1 fantasy option.

Sebastian Janikowski active (11:50 a.m. ET): The Oakland Raiders' official Twitter feed reports that K Sebastian Janikowski (left hamstring, probable) is active. Despite his injury he remains one of the better fantassy kickers out there this week, and the game is indoors, which is a plus.

Anthony Fasano active (11:47 a.m. ET): The Miami Dolphins' official Twitter feed reports that TE Anthony Fasano (ankle, questionable) is active. He has seen an uptick in performance lately, though isn't one of the elite at his position in terms of targets. Consider him a No. 2 fantasy tight end, albeit one who might make an attractive bye-week fill-in.

Felix Jones active (11:45 a.m. ET): ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that RB Felix Jones (ankle, questionable) is active. There have been some whispers that Jones will get the start this week, but it'll likely be ceremonial; this is still DeMarco Murray's job after the rookie's outstanding performance as a fill-in. Prepare as if Murray will get the vast majority of the rushing work, making him a clear fantasy start.

Lee Evans active (11:42 a.m. ET): The Baltimore Ravens' official Twitter feed reports that WR Lee Evans (ankle, questionable) is active. It is unclear whether he'll start, but consider this news bad for Torrey Smith, who had been filling in for him the past several weeks.

Tashard Choice active (11:41 a.m. ET): The Washington Redskins' official Twitter feed reports that RB Tashard Choice (hamstring, probable) is active. There is no early word on how much Choice will play this week, but the news is significant because it gives Mike Shanahan three healthy running backs from which to choose. Prepare as if Choice will be the little-used No. 3, but his active status does detract from Roy Helu's and Ryan Torain's fantasy appeal.

Ray Lewis inactive (11:40 a.m. ET): The Baltimore Ravens' official Twitter feed reports that LB Ray Lewis (foot, questionable) is inactive. Heads up to those of you in IDP leagues.

Peyton Hillis inactive (11:37 a.m. ET): Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports that RB Peyton Hillis (hamstring, out) is inactive.

Montario Hardesty inactive (11:37 a.m. ET): Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports that RB Montario Hardesty (calf, questionable) is inactive. With both Hardesty and Hillis sidelined, Chris Ogbonnaya will get another start, with Thomas Clayton serving as his backup. Consider Ogbonnaya only a high-end flex consideration, even with the four teams on bye.

Visanthe Shiancoe active (11:35 a.m. ET): The Minnesota Vikings' official Twitter feed reports that TE Visanthe Shiancoe (hamstring, questionable) is active. He's only a No. 2 fantasy option at his position, useful primarily as a bye-week plug-in. Shiancoe simply isn't targeted often enough or in scoring situations to warrant greater.

Steve Johnson active (11:33 a.m. ET): The Buffalo Bills' official Twitter feed reports that WR Steve Johnson (shoulder, questionable) is active. This is somewhat of a pleasant surprise, as his missed practice time this week indeed made him a risk to sit. Expect the Bills to take it easy on Johnson, however, accounting for his playing at less than full strength. It's the matchup itself -- versus Dolphins -- that keeps him in the No. 2 fantasy wide receiver class.

A.J. Green inactive (11:30 a.m. ET): Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that WR A.J. Green (knee, doubtful) is inactive. The doubtful tag should've convinced you to find an alternative in advance, but if not, Jerome Simpson and Andre Caldwell will get the starts this week. The problem: It's a poor matchup for either.
