Quarterback with most passing yards: Jay Cutler
The Broncos are going to throw much more and have more yards as they are going to be chasing the Chargers on the scoreboard.
Quarterback with most touchdown passes: Jay Cutler
Again, Cutler will have more opportunities and might get a couple of late touchdowns as the Broncos hunt down the Chargers.
Running back with most yards: LaDainian Tomlinson
Tomlinson, and to go in any other direction would be crazy. He's peaking at the right time as the Chargers head to the playoffs. I look for Tomlinson to have a good Christmas Eve.
Running back with most touchdowns: LaDainian Tomlinson
Touchdown Tomlinson. Need we say more?
Wide receiver with the most receiving yards: Brandon Marshall
Marshall is an up-and-comer in the league and will be Cutler's main hookup. And because the Broncos will have to play catch-up, Marshall will have plenty of opportunities.
Most field goals: Nate Kaeding
The Chargers will score touchdowns and field goals and I look for Kaeding to have at least two, maybe three chances..
First team to score a touchdown: San Diego Chargers
The Chargers are feeling pretty good about themselves right now coming off a high-octane offensive performance in Week 15. They'll come out strong.
First player to score a touchdown: LaDainian Tomlinson
Touchdown Tomlinson: Again, need we say more? Chargers will be first and he will be their guy.
Keys to the game for the Broncos
Keep the offense on the field
The Chargers have a red-hot offense right now, so the best defense is a good offense. Good luck!
Cutler must protect the ball
I sound like a broken record, I know. With Angelo Cromartie in the defensive backfield, Cutler had better make wise decisions. Stay away from the interception. If he throws two picks or more, the Broncos are done. However, Cutler also must take some shots down the field.
Stop the run
Again, good luck. LaDainian Tomlinson, need we say more?
Keys to the game for the Chargers
Take care of business, win and stay healthy.
Philip Rivers must start strong
Rivers needs early confidence. Heading into the playoffs, the Chargers need consistency out of their young quarterback. Get him going early and he might get back last year's form.
Make the Broncos one-dimensional
Do that, and you win the football game. Force them to throw the ball 45 times and it's game over.
All that said, I like the Chargers by at least 10 points in this game.
