On Thursday, Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth -- the world Nos. 1 and 2, respectively -- combined to play 36 holes at separate events at -7 (McIlroy 71, Spieth 64). But today? McIlroy shot a 78 (+6), tied for his worst 18-hole score in his last 44 worldwide events, while Spieth shot 73 (+3).

Through 2 rounds at last week's Wells Fargo Championship, Rory McIlroy was -7 overall and -7 on the par 5's, just 3 shots off the 36-hole lead. This week at Wentworth, he was +5 after 2 rounds, missing the cut, and was just -2 on the par 5's.
