Rose, Snedecker square off in 36-hole final

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Oklahoma State's Dayton Rose and Vanderbilt's Brant Snedecker each won two matches Friday to advance to the 36-hole final of the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship.

Rose beat medalist Jeff Overton of Indiana, 3 and 1 in the quarterfinals, and Lamar's Chris Stroud 4 and 2 in the semifinals.
