Adam Scott expected to use traditional putter
SYDNEY -- Adam Scott is expected to use a new shorter putter Thursday in the first round of the Australian Open.
The Australian star played a practice round Tuesday at The Lakes without the long putter that he anchors to his chest. The Royal & Ancient Golf Club and the U.S. Golf Association have proposed a rule -- to come into effect in 2016 -- banning players from anchoring putters against their body during the stroke.
