Hole 8

The skinny:
An accurate drive is important to avoid the fairway bunker on the right side. The hole is uphill and features trouble left of the green. No bunkers around the green, just severe mounding. The tee was moved back 20 yards and slightly to the right last year.

Vijay Singh's analysis:
There's a big tree that you normally don't notice about 60 yards down the right side that makes you feel like you have to hit a fade. The bunker has been lengthened. You can still rip it all you want down the left side. Very few guys will be able to get to the green in two. It's playing like it did 10 years ago.

How it played in 2002:
Eagles: 0 Birdies: 59 Pars: 170 Bogeys: 30 Double Bogeys: 6 Other: 0
